| Hi everyone, I know you all probably wonder what I’ve been up to since our last meeting as my communications have been pretty sparse. I’ve been working hard on creating new materials, building the beginnings of the overall framework for us to use moving forward, going to some of your classes and studio shoots, reviewing surveys, and spending a lot of time talking with Diane about what she would like to see from us moving forward and a lot more. Below is the agenda for our upcoming meeting, if anyone has additional items please bring them to the meeting or discuss with me in email or phone. Agenda: 1. Discuss and plan upcoming classes for the next couple of months so we can get them on the calendar. a. There is a large number of people wanting basic studio and portrait lighting classes. b. There is also a large group wanting some camera basics classes. c. We should start making plans for nice weather outdoor classes. d. Review class length per Diane’s requests for short classes. e. Discuss studio shoots moving forward to focus on particular class materials for additional hands-on opportunities for participants. 2. Review surveys from the last few classes and discuss what we can do to improve our materials. 3. Review online survey that I created to send to participants following classes. 4. Discuss training material framework for moving forward. 5. Go over cross training opportunities for instructors. 6. Look at pricing for classes and discuss setting more even rates across the board for different skill tiers. 7. Gary has almost finished the new Photocafe website and we will talk about our potential contributions once its live. Potential materials are blog posts, RSS feeds from personal sites, instructional videos, etcetera. 8. We have an upcoming gallery show opportunity that Diane wants to see us participate and add our work in. There may be additional items to discuss that will be added as they come in as well as topics anyone brings to the table. I’m also talking to some potential instructors that depending on how our talks go may be added to this meeting as new instructors. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there!
